Common Questions:

Q-1) What Is The Difference Between Being Amish a Being a Mennonite?

A-1) Truth be told, there is not really a huge difference in them, besides the way they worship God and the way they live life. Mennonites use technology and receive higher education; people of the Amish belief believe that technology interferes with their religion and draws them away from God. However, some Mennonites are still basically Amish (no technology, dress in "plain" clothes, use buggies, etc.), whom we refer to them as the Old Order Amish and the Old Order Mennonites. The even more modern group of individuals are the Modern Amish and the Modern Mennonite religions. Penelope is a Modern Mennonite because she uses technology and believes that she can still worship God correctly by doing so! Its confusing, but over time you should understand!

Q-2) Who Is Penelope and What Is Her Background?

A-2) Hey! My name is Penelope Christine James-Sabastian. I am an Amish/Mennonite women and I live in Ontario, Canada! I have a husband who I love very much and his name is Joseph Andrew Sebastian. We met on an Amish dating website called Amish Online Dating (http://www.amishonlinedating.com/).

I was born and raised in a strict Amish community; however, I'm not as strict as my parents are. I go by the Modern Mennonite religion because I use technology (I have a cell phone and a laptop). My parents are not completely against my way of life, they just chose the simpler more looked up upon version of the Amish religion. They were born and raised that way. My sibling and I are a little more loose about technology.

Q-3) Who Are The Members Of Penelope's Family?

A-3) My Siblings & Me:

Me - Eldest age 38

Jedidiah - age 35, 2nd eldest with a wife Sarah and children named Andrew, Elizabeth and baby Cassandra

Samantha - age 17, 3rd eldest with a husband named Jimmy and just had twin baby girls, Grace Anne and Gloria Addison.

Paul - age 15 and the youngest of all.

Q-4) What Are Penelope's Hobbies/Activities?

A-4)

- Spending time with friends and family

- Using her cell phone

- Facebook!

- Sewing, knitting & crocheting (Pronounced: croSHAYing)

- Going shopping

Q-5) Was Penelope married before Joseph?

A-5) Yes:

I used to be married to Charlie Cole, but we divorced a while back. recently Charlie and his new wife Kat and step-daughter Julie have moved back in the area and Julie was attending school at my schoolhouse. They let me know that Julie will be attending a private school after the new year because they think I'm not giving Julie the education they want for her. Which is fine with me because now that's one more thing I don't have to worry about.

Q-6) Is Penelope Pregnant?

A-6) Yes, Penelope is pregnant! On June 24th her doctor told her she was a month pregnant. She is due January 29, 2012. Penelope was pregnant with twins, but miscarried one.

Q-7) What Is Penelope's Pregnancy History?

A-7) Penelope has PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome), so she has had a hard time getting pregnant and has a history of recurrent miscarriages (most of them with Charlie Cole, ex husband), etc. which is why it's so amazing that she got pregnant in the first place. With PCOS, the only thing harder than getting pregnant is staying pregnant!
